Description: Rainbow Corner, a club run by the American Red Cross at 23 Shaftesbury Avenue, a short distance from Piccadilly Circus. Over the course of the Second World War millions of American GI's visited the London club which had an altogether American atmosphere. Post-war the building was demolished and replaced with an office block.
