Creating a Vision of the Commonwealth

The Scottish Documentary Institute (SDI), in a partnership with NCAP, are looking for a documentary filmmaker to develop and make a 15’ film as a creative response to our unique aerial photography of Commonwealth countries taken throughout the second half of the twentieth century.

Images from NCAP have featured in a new documentary on the Discovery Channel in the USA, which reaches over 100 million households. The programme, D-Day in 3D, explores the use of stereoscopic aerial photography in the planning of the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944.
