West Midlands aerial images released

A new batch of 1,643 aerial photos of the West Midlands is now accessible online. The photographs were taken in 1989 during an aerial survey by Simmons Aerofilms Ltd. 

The images in this batch cover Birmingham and the West Midlands from Wolverhampton to Sutton Coldfield, Stourbridge to the NEC and Bromsgrove to Redditch.

Cover of Coventry was not taken during the survey, but was eventually flown in colour in 2002.
