D-Day: The Last Heroes

Images from NCAP are featuring in a new two-part BBC documentary about the Normandy landings, D-Day: The Last Heroes. To co-incide with the broadcast, over 3,500 images taken on D-Day have been released on the NCAP website.

New Documentary: D-Day in 3D

Images from NCAP have featured in a new documentary on the Discovery Channel in the USA, which reaches over 100 million households. The programme, D-Day in 3D, explores the use of stereoscopic aerial photography in the planning of the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944.

Images from the Dambusters and Saumur Tunnel raids by 617 Squadron, Royal Air Force, have been released in a batch of 5,300 historic aerial images uploaded to the NCAP website, covering areas from Western Europe to North Africa.

From Brussels to Suez - new batch of images released

4,700 historic aerial images have been uploaded to the NCAP website, covering areas from Western Europe to North Africa. Also released are images flown during the Suez Crisis in November 1956.
