Following the advice of UK and Scottish Governments, NCAP has returned to limited operations. We are now able to process orders for not-yet-digitised aerial imagery, to revised delivery timescales.

Mosaics now available

Mosaics of parts of Sardinia, Glasgow and Scotland are now available for website subscribers to browse and view. Using cutting-edge technology, NCAP staff have pieced together sequences of photographs to create historical mosaics of major cities and overlay them on modern maps. Mosaics of Toulon and Rome will be added in coming months.

Andreas Buchholz, NCAP Geoinformation Manager said: These seamless, georeferenced mosaics demonstrate very effectively the power of historical aerial photographs. Users can switch between layers showing historical imagery and modern mapping to quickly appreciate changes at any location. We are grateful for the support of our subscribers, who fund our digitisation programme, and we hope they will enjoy using this new feature.
