NCAP imagery used in major US documentary

Aerial photographs from NCAP are now the subject of a forthcoming documentary on the PBS network in the USA about a top secret Second World War operation.

Entitled 3D Spies of WWII, the documentary is to be broadcast across the United States on 18 January 2012 and makes extensive use of historic aerial imagery and research supplied by NCAP. The programme tells the story of Operation CROSSBOW, a secret Allied operation which used 3D aerial photography to hunt for Nazi V-weapons under development and then deployment. It covers the hunt for these weapons and the great efforts made to destroy them before they could make a decisive impact on the course of the Second World War.
