Astral Aerial Surveys Ltd was a British aerial survey company which operated from 1969 to 1994. The company owned the Auster Autocrat aircraft G-AJEH from 1969 until 1984 and this aircraft had been flown by the company director, Denis Albert Cresswell, in the Stella Artois Air Race in 1979. Astral Aerial Surveys Ltd then owned Cessna Skylane aircraft G-PICS from 1981-1994. On 17 January 1994, Mr Creswell was killed after undertaking aerial survey work in G-PICS when it crashed into High Seat, south of Keswick.
