First World War remains in Scotland

Scotland's role in the First World War was vital to the British Empire's defeat of the Central Powers. A project to examine the remains of that conflict has just been completed by RCAHMS and Historic Scotland. For the first time a list of First World War sites all across Scotland reveals the role the nation played in the defence of the British Isles.
