On 1 April 2018, the Royal Air Force celebrated its 100th birthday. To mark the occasion, this gallery presents a selection of aerial photographs which reflect the history and achievements of the RAF during the Second World War and Cold War. These include wartime-reconnaissance and peacetime-survey photographs of locations around the world.
